a poem written by Shirley following the death of our Dad :-
'You've left this place and now moved on,
Your wisdom, your laughter, your sound has gone.
I see a hat, a stick, an elderly form,
Memories are jolted, I feel forlorn.
But you are with me still, I know you are,
Living in my heart,so close,so far.
I hear your chat, your 'What a to do!'
Your mischief, your cheek, it can only be you.
So though you have left me and for that I am sad,
Your essence endures - I love you Dad.'
Your words still make me cry our Shirl - your bruv. Michael. x
